In 1989, the brothers brought this winning combination to Winston-Salem, NC. They were the new owners of Elizabeth's Italian Restaurant. However, this endeavor kept the brothers from fully realizing their dream of serving true Italian cuisine in an elegant atmosphere reminiscent of the best restaurant in Italy.

After a painstakingly long process, the Poppante brothers' dream became a reality. In 2000, Da Vinci's Italian Restaurant opened. It has quickly become a staple of fine dining in Hickory and Morganton.

The recent addition of a full service bar and private party room are indications that only good things can come from this premier Italian eatery in Hickory and Morganton.
